Why are Chrome tattoos priced slightly higher?

Chrome tattoos are a little more specialised and require extra time, precision and attention to detail to achieve that signature polished, reflective finish.

Unlike traditional shading, chrome relies on carefully placed reflections, highlights, deep contrasts and subtle tonal changes to create the illusion of real metal on the skin. Every element has to work together for the chrome effect to look convincing.

Because of the additional design work and more technical tattooing process, chrome pieces can take a little longer to create and tattoo. The slightly higher price simply reflects the extra time, detail and craftsmanship that goes into achieving that clean, high shine finish.

Do you work with colour ?

Sometimes ! I usually work with black and grey and white wash however I am open for full colour realism, check out the example of my colour work in my portfolio. Especially I would be interested in colour portraits/movie/horror character's.

What is stipple technique ?

Accepted Answer

Stipple tattooing is a shading technique that uses tiny dots, fine marks and textured layers rather than traditional smooth or blended shading. By carefully building up the density of these dots, the artist can create depth, contrast, soft gradients and highly detailed textures.

This technique gives tattoos a crisp, refined and slightly grainy appearance, making it particularly effective for detailed black & grey, fine-line and realistic work.

One of the benefits of stipple shading is the way the texture creates clear definition and contrast within the design. When applied correctly and cared for properly, stippled work can age beautifully, with the intentional texture helping the tattoo maintain its character and readability as it settles into the skin over time.

What do I need to do before my appointment?

Preparing for Your Tattoo Appointment

To make sure your skin is in the best possible condition and you’re feeling ready for your appointment, here are a few things we recommend:

The week before
Start moisturising the area you’ll be getting tattooed at least one week before your appointment. Keeping your skin well hydrated will help prepare it for the tattooing process.

The day before
Have a shower and gently exfoliate the area that will be tattooed. Please avoid shaving or using anything too harsh that could irritate or damage the skin.

Make sure you have a good dinner, drink plenty of water and get a good night’s sleep. Being well rested, hydrated and properly fed can make a huge difference to how you feel throughout your session.

On the day
Please make sure you have a big, filling breakfast before your appointment, especially if you’re booked in for a longer session.

You’re more than welcome to bring a packed lunch, or you can pick something up from one of the nearby shops or restaurants. For longer sessions, we’ll take a break so you have plenty of time to eat, recharge and get comfortable before continuing.

We have complimentary drinks and sweets available in the studio to help keep your energy and sugar levels up throughout your appointment. We’ll always do our best to accommodate different dietary requirements, but if you have any specific preferences, feel free to bring along your favourite snacks, drinks or juice.

Allergies & important information
Please let us know about any allergies, sensitivities or relevant medical information when you arrive for your appointment. Don’t worry if you forget, you’ll be asked to complete a consent form before we begin, where you can provide all the necessary information.

Most importantly, come well rested, well fed and hydrated, we’ll take care of the rest.

Extended full day 6-8 hours	£750.00
Small tattoo Small tattoo upto 10cm. Depending on the design and detail £120-180. Please note my minimum charge is £120	£120.00
