Can I get a tattoo under the age of 18 with parents consent?

Accepted Answer

No. Under any circumstances can you get a tattoo legally in the UK Under the age of 18, even with parents consent.

Question 2

Can I bring a friend/partner?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We want you to feel as comfortable as possible so if that means bringing someone along they are more than welcome. We do however please ask that you only bring one person, as the studio can get busy and there is limited seating.

Please also note, for health and safety reasons your guest will be asked to sit away from the bed in the waiting area whilst you are getting your tattoo. 🫶🏼✨

Can I use sunbeds after my tattoo?

Accepted Answer

No. It’s very important you don’t expose your fresh tattoo to UV light as it can affect the healing process and you are at a much bigger risk of infection. If you are going to use a sunbed you will need to cover your tattoo.

Once your tattoo is fully healed, sun exposure is ok as long as you are using SPF!

Can I bring my baby to my tattoo appointment?

We ask that you please don’t bring anyone under the age of 18 to the tattoo studio.

Question 5

What if I need to reschedule my tattoo appointment?

Accepted Answer

We ask that you please give at least 48 hours notice when needing to move your tattoo appointment to a different date or deposit will be lost. 
We understand life gets in the way and sometimes last minute issues arise, in some cases, deposit can be held or a gift voucher can be given with your deposit cost added for anybody over the age of 18 to use.

Refunds will not be given.

How much will my tattoo cost?

I typically price tattoos per piece rather than per hour. Pricing will depend on sizing, placement and design.

My minimum charge is £50.

Will I see the design before my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Typically, no. Many artists will not show the design before appointments and there are many reasons as to why. 
1. It protects their artwork.
Unfortunately, some people ask for a design, then take it to another artist who tattoos it more cheaply. A custom tattoo design can take hours to create, so artists usually don’t want to give it away before they’ve been paid for the tattoo.

2. Clients often request endless changes.
If a design is sent a week in advance, it’s common for people to ask for multiple revisions, change the idea completely, or send lots of new reference images. It can quickly become many hours of unpaid work.

3. It’s easier to adjust in person.
Placement and size make a huge difference to how a tattoo looks. An artist can print the design, hold it against the body, resize it, tweak proportions, and make small changes much more effectively when the client is there.

4. It keeps the artist’s schedule manageable.
Most tattoo artists are designing for several clients each week. If every client wanted multiple rounds of revisions before their appointment, many artists would spend more time designing than tattooing.

Question 8

Do you tattoo over scars and stretch marks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As long as the skin isn’t broken and is fully healed, it’s fine to tattoo over scars and stretch marks. You do however have to take into consideration that the skin may be bumpy and therefore not have perfect lines as a result of this.

Do you do coverups?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes. It depends on the tattoo you want covering and whether I am willing to take the challenge on.

I don’t really enjoy coverups but understand that sometimes it needs to be done!

Question 10

Do fineline tattoos fade quicker?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Even when done well, fineline tattoos will typically fade a little. I offer a free touch up session because of this but ask that you make use of it within 3 months of having your tattoo.
