We are the double blue doors opposite the pen museum, a few of doors down from 1000 trades! There is a small stone sign next to the door with the studio name on it

Is there parking / public transport nearby?

Accepted Answer

If you are travelling by public transport, the nearest train station to the studio is Jewellery Quarter, which has a tramline from central stations such as New St.

Please be aware that if you are driving in and parking by the studio, we are now in the clean air zone in Birmingham. You can check whether your car is exempt from charges using the link below, but if not will need to pay £8 to be able to drive in city centre.

 If you are driving, there is pay and display on street parking on Frederick St, which is a 2-minute walk from the studio, you can only park here for a maximum of 4 hours. There is also a carpark called Jewellery Quarter Multi Storey, which is a 5 minute walk from the studio, the address is 103-104 Vyse St. You are able to park here all day.

There are two disabled parking spaces directly outside of the studio, on Frederick St.

What days do you work?

I work Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturdays. My days tend to start from 11am! I can offer evening appointments on selected days!

Question 4

Do I have to pay a deposit to book in?

Accepted Answer

Yes! All appointments require a non-refundable booking fee before they are confirmed. The fee required depends on the length of your appointment but they typically range from £40 - £100 per session booked. The deposit is subtracted from your total cost on the day of your appointment.
If you have an in date voucher, this can be used as the deposit for an appointment.

Can I move or cancel my appointment?

All appointments can only be moved or cancelled once. As long as l am given 5 days notice and it is the first time rearrange / cancelling, the appointment can either be rebooked or a voucher can be given that is the total of the deposit paid, to rebook at a later date. This voucher will be valid for the next time my diary opens. When my diary opens, priority will be given to those with vouchers. No shows or cancellations within 5 days of the appointment mean the deposit will be forfeited. To book back in you would need to follow the same steps as you did the first time, when my diary next opens. Any vouchers unused by the end of the validity date, cannot be used. Deposits won't be refunded in any circumstances.
Any touch ups cancelled within 1 day of the appointment or no showed, will be rebooked but a non-refundable deposit will be required and the new booking will be charged at my hourly rate.
Your deposit cannot be transferred to someone else to use for a tattoo booking. Likewise if a group booking is made, a deposit is requested per person not per group booking. If someone in the group cancels, the same system applies as above. The deposit is there to cover time spent on admin/ design for you as an individual.

Question 6

Can I change my tattoo idea after iv booked?

It completely depends on what the changes are, small changes are usually absolutely fine.
When I book appointments, I will choose forms based on what my strengths are and what I find most exciting. If you to change the idea completely to something I wouldn't do or wouldn't have taken on, the appointment will be cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited. If the idea change is bigger or needs longer than the appointment originally booked, the appointment may need rescheduling.
If your original idea requires a longer sitting and the new idea significantly reduces the time needed, the deposit will be forfeited, to cover the time lost. Any major changes after the design is done and sent, may lead to the appointment being cancelled and the deposit forfeited, if l am able to accommodate the new design, a redesign fee will be charged to cover wasted time.

Question 7

Will I see my design before my appointment?

Yeah! I send all designs over the day before your appointment so if any small changes need to be made they can be. When booking in, we will go through all the details for your design so hopefully I can create a design first time that you are happy with, however if you are not I'm happy to make small changes to the design. I also ask that any final details on your end, that you feel are important to creating the perfect design for you are sent over/ finalised atleast 5 days prior to your appointment! I can then use this to create the design. If you feel content with the information that was given at the time of booking, I will work from this!

Big changes or complete change in design may lead to the appointment needing to be rebooked and the deposit being lost, if there are changes that weren't communicated before the design was completed. If I have time to completely redesign your piece, a recharge fee may be charged. If you have a change of heart please let me know as soon as possible, so I'm able to draw something you are happy with!
