Can I use numbing cream?

Accepted Answer

Yes but it is not recommended.
If you decide to use numbing cream, please only use TKTX and buy from their official website as other sites such as Amazon and eBay can sell fakes which can result in a chemical reaction.

I advise to do a patch test 24-48hrs before your appointment to make sure it doesn’t affect your skin.

Do not use Emla, this can affect the texture of your skin which makes it extremely hard to tattoo. Emla is used for injections not tattoos so it doesn’t last very long and comes back with vengeance!

Your appointment can be refused if you use any cream other than TKTX. 
If you do not patch test and get a reaction to the cream, it can result in not being able to be tattooed!

Question 2

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

Yes but I politely ask to limit it to one person as the studio is not very big so we do not have the room to accommodate multiple guests.

Question 3

If I reschedule my appointment, is my deposit still valid?

Accepted Answer

I have a 48 hour reschedule policy. If you give more than 48 hours notice then I can move your appointment and your deposit is transferred to the new date.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice unfortunately your deposit is lost as with less than two days notice, I can struggle to fill the appointment slot and have possible a loss of earnings.

Are there any styles you won’t do?

I will happily do most styles if I think I can do a good job of it, if I don't feel as if I would be best suited for the tattoo, I can happily recommend you another artist that would be. The main style I don’t do is realism and I am definitely more of a black and grey artist than a colour artist. If you’re looking at getting colour, I would recommend my colleague Domi.

Question 5

Do you do cover ups and reworks?

Accepted Answer

Yes but it is dependent on what the existing tattoo is and wear you’d be open to having. I will only take on cover ups that I know I can cover completely. I always require a consultation for cover ups and reworks as I need to see the tattoo in person to know the possibilities. Unfortunately if a tattoo is too dark or thick to cover it with your desired tattoos, laser treatment may be advised.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes I do, collection in studio or I can post them out if you cover the cost of shipping.
