How do I book?

In order to book a tattoo with me please fill out an enquiry form in as much detail as you can. Please include reference images if you have them and if you see an available slot that works for you, select it. Selecting an available slot does not guarantee the slot is suitable for the time needed to do the tattoo, or that it hasn’t already been offered out elsewhere but I do my best to accommodate where I can. Appointments are not confirmed until a deposit has been paid therefore any slots sent are open to other clients until it is confirmed.

Question 2

How does the design process work/do you do custom designs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I do custom designs as well as pre-determined designs for example someone’s handwriting. I will not copy a design like for like unless for reasons such as specific handwriting/matching tattoos. Once you have booked your appointment and the deposit has been paid, your appointment is secure in my diary and I will draw your design up in the days leading up to your appointment. In my T&C’s you’ll find information about last minute design changes so please make sure you are certain of your design idea before booking. On the day of your appointment, we’ll have a look over the design together and can make any small tweaks quickly and easily on the iPad until we reach the desired design.

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Unless you have a carer or need additional assistance for things such as hearing/sight/mobility, or you are getting a matching tattoo in the same session, please come to your appointment alone. This is without exception for any other reason, it’s very distracting for not only me but also other artists in the studio as well as effecting the level of accuracy I can perform the tattoo, particularly fineline (yes you move far more than you think when you talk!), there are plenty of coffee shops and other amenities just outside the studio so please try and make use of those!

What if i’m I’m really nervous for my first tattoo, can I bring someone with me?

Nerves are very common for a first tattoo, but please do still attend your appointment alone. I have done going into the hundreds of first tattoos, so please trust me! Studios can be intimidating environments but the girls and I are proud to have created a space where everyone can feel calm and comfortable, I will talk you through everything and can work with you to make sure you’re happy with everything before we start.

Can I arrive early for my appointment?

Please don’t arrive early or late to your appointment! I leave very small breaks between clients in order to prep for my next tattoo, arriving early creates pressure for the client before you, I always allow plenty of time to do consent forms and have design discussion in the slots I book, so arriving early is not necessary and can cause a bit of stress so please try and arrive at the given appointment time.

How do I pay?

I take cash, bank transfer or PayPal on the day of your appointment, which is preferable for you.

Can I use numbing cream?

Accepted Answer

I recommend against the use of numbing cream generally, however this is at your own risk. Certain numbing creams have negative affects on the skin texture and healing of tattoos therefore use of numbing creams will void a free touch up of your tattoo. We do not provide numbing in the studio so use of your own numbing cream means it is also out of my control if your skin texture is tougher and ink retention is effected, and the quality of the tattoo is compromised as a result. It’s also important to note that if you do use numbing cream and have any reaction prior to the appointment that means we’re unable to do the tattoo, this will also void your deposit. For larger scale pieces/day sittings I highly recommend against the use of numbing creams due to the lack of longevity and likelihood it will become extremely uncomfortable once it’s worn off.
