Do I see the design beforehand?

The design will be ready to see on the day, please provide every single detail you’d like in the design. If there are small changes to be done, I am more than happy to do them on the day of the appointment. I work best with a brief description and flexibility on creative freedom to give you the best unique tattoo.

Question 2

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

I try my best to limit the amount of people in the studio due to the size of the space and other artist in the area. There is a shopping centre not far from the studio which friends and family can have a look around whilst you get tattooed. If you need assistance due to a disability and need to bring someone with you, you are more than welcome to bring them with you for support.

Where is the best place to park near the studio?

There is free parking in the residential area, and outside the studio. Please note some spaces are numbered and are private for residents and shops. Alternatively you can park in the Swan Centre which is a 8/10 minute walk to the studio. If you’re getting a train it is around a 15 minute walk to the studio.

What payments do you take?

I take cash or bank transfer only, unfortunately I don’t have a card machine.

What’s your aftercare advice?

Accepted Answer

Colour tattoo aftercare:

Step 1 - Keep puppy pad on for 24hrs.

Step 2 - Take off puppy pad with clean hands, clean with antibacterial soap and dab dry with paper towels.

Step 3 - With clean hands apply the second skin, make sure the tattoo and surrounding area is dry before applying.

Step 4 - Try to keep the second skin on for 3-5 days.

Step 5 - After 3-5 days take the second skin off in the shower and clean with antibacterial soap and pat dry with a paper towel.

Step 6 - Apply a small amount of tattoo butter 2-3 a day, keep repeating until tattoo is fully heal. (Tattoo butter I recommend Yayo butter which we stock in the studio or palmers coco butter)

Black and grey aftercare:

Step 1 - Once second skin is applied by me please keep it on for 3-5 days. Then follow steps 5 and 6 above.

The second skin is hypoallergenic but in case you your skin is irritated or bothered take it off right away and use cling film instead.

Please keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight. After the tattoo is fully heal always use 50f. The sun ages tattoos and dulls colours.

Do not scratch or pick at your tattoo during the healing process. This will cause the ink to “drop out”.

Do not fully submerge the tattoo in water. Please avoid baths, hot tubs, swimming, intense work outs and sauna’s for 3 weeks.

Are there any styles you won’t do?

I tattoo in a range of styles but unfortunately the only styles I won’t do are realism and Japanese

I can recommend amazing artist that are local and specialise in this style :)

Question 7

Do you do coverups?

Accepted Answer

I can do coverups but it all depends on what you have there already and if I think I can cover it. I’m always happy to cover laser work as it’s light enough to put anything you have over it. There’s a lot more flexibility when it comes to designing and getting the tattoo you truly desire.

Question 8

Do you only do colour tattoos?

Absolutely not, I’m always happy to do black and grey, blackwork and dotwork in my style. I have samples of my black and grey work on instagram and on this page.

Question 9

Can I book for a touch up?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, when it comes to colour sometimes it needs an extra coat, ( I treat this like painting a wall, sometimes you need a second coat because the first coat is patchy) every now and then with the healing process your skin can push out colour. So I’m absolutely okay to do free touch up as long as it’s within 2 months of the original date.
