Do you do colour?

I can! It’s just not my usual style. Some colour styles are out of my depth so bare this in mind when you enquire!

How long do your tattoos take?

How long is a piece of string?
It’s hard for me to say- but black and grey/ fineline is generally more time consuming. 
Even a palm sized tattoo can take hours depending on detail!
The quality of the tattoo is my priority, not how fast i can work.
My appointments end after 6-8 hours though!

Do you use numbing cream?

You have to source it yourself!!
Please stick with numbing creams bought over the counter at the pharmacy- eg Emla cream or Ametop. 
Brands such as TKTX and TattooNumbx are NOT REGULATED and are subject to quality control issues. I have seen reactions as bad as 3rd degree burns from TKTX on people who have previously used it with no issues. 
Ametop comes in tiny tubes- so make sure you have enough (eg 3-5 for a palm sized piece!)
I do use Bactine which can help during the procedure.

Can I wear my headphones?

Yes!!!!
As much as i can chat I really don’t mind if you’d rather not. Whatever makes you more comfortable

I have a disability. How can you accommodate?

Let me know in the booking form if you have any accessibility needs.
I have autism myself so I’m pretty understanding when it comes to neurodivergent needs. No judgement, just ask if i can help with anything during your tattoo. 
As for mobility needs- SMB (Brighton) and Red Rabbit (Bristol) are wheelchair accessible. Sacred Corium (Leicester) is on a 1st floor- so if you are based in Leicester, message me and I will either arrange to tattoo at an accessible location or recommend another shop for you. 
If your condition might mean that you have to cancel or rearrange at short notice- let me know so i can be more flexible.

Question 7

I take medication. Can I still get tattooed?

Accepted Answer

Most medications, such as SSRIs, ibuprofen/paracetamol and contraceptives will not affect your tattoo. 
Blood thinners and immunosuppressants can affect the process and/or healing. However as I’m not a medical professional, please ask your doctor if it will be safe to get tattooed whilst on your medication if you are unsure.
