What is a Fine-Line or Tiny Tattoo?

Fine-line or Tiny tattoos are created using very fine needles with the goal of creating a delicate and soft design. These are a lot finer/daintier and softer than the more 'traditional' tattoos using thicker needles.

Fine-Line & Tiny Tattoos heal very subtle, soft and delicate.

We often see a freshly photographed tattoo on social media, so it is easy to see how some tattoos once healed may not be exactly what someone expects - it is important to be aware that a tattoo will always lighten as the skin heals over the ink.

Will I need a top-up?

Fine-line tattoos are more subtle, delicate and soft, they do not heal bold and black. It is quite normal for a fine-line tattoo to require some touch-ups once fully healed.

Using such a fine needle means there is higher risk of ink 'blow-outs' - it is much better for me to work lightly with the chance of needing a potential top-up session at a later date - I can always ADD to a tattoo design, but I cannot take away or remove any 'blow-outs'.

Do you use Numbing Cream?

Accepted Answer

No, I don't use numbing cream for fine-line or tiny tattoos. I'd also advise to not apply one yourself - Numbing Cream can change the texture of the skin, making it tougher and much more difficult to work with. This can result in more skin trauma and can compromise the quality of the healing process.

When do I finalise my design/s?

Accepted Answer

Once you have officially booked in & paid the retainer/booking fee I will begin designing your tattoo - this can be from examples sent to me - you will have this opportunity when you begin the process of a tattoo enquiry with me.

I will send the design over to you around 1 week before your appointment with me, this gives us time to make any tweaks or changes if needed. Any drastic or complete design changes will need an additional fee and may require rescheduling the appointment to a later date to give time for any new designs.

Question 7

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

That's absolutely fine to bring 1 person with you, preferably someone 18+ years of age.
Children, babies or toddlers cannot come along to appointments.
