Can I use numbing cream?

I'm quite open to letting clients use numbing cream, but this needs to be discussed well in advance.
If you attend your appointment with numbing cream on, you may lose your deposit as your appointment may need to be rescheduled, depending on how your skin reacts.

Many people find they can finish complete sessions without issue, as I already make an effort to minimise the pain of the procedure as much as possible.
I use products with natural numbing agents, I never dry wipe skin and I always offer regular breaks incase you need a little breather.

Question 2

Do you do silent appointments?

Absolutely!
Considering my own autism, sometimes I'm excited about a silent session because it lets me put headphones on and focus purely on giving you a great tattoo. So if you'd like a silent session, please don't hesitate to request one as I absolutely won't be offended!

I'll still need to ask you some questions on the day, but we can do these via pen and paper if you're non-verbal.
Just let me know your needs and I'll be more than happy to accomodate!

Question 3

Can I bring someone with me?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can bring one person along for moral support, as long as they're over 18.
No children are allowed in the studio, so please make sure childcare is arranged well before your appointment.

Question 4

Can I read/play games/text while I'm being tattooed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, provided the area you're being tattooed won't be disrupted by any movement your activity may make. 
The steadier you can sit, the better your tattoo will be!

Question 5

Can I split my single session tattoo into multiple sessions?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Depending on the amount of colours involved in the tattoo, I may charge a fee of up to £20 per additional appointment. 
This is to offset any of the cost and time spent mixing and dispensing the ink across multiple sessions. 
Typically if the tattoo is small and only has one or two colours, I will happily do this for no extra cost.

Some people find it difficult to sit for the entire duration of their tattoo, whether because of low pain tolerance, nerve spasms or anxiety.

There's absolutely no shame in this, and certainly no judgement from me. There's no medal for "Person Who Got Tattooed The Longest".
At the end of the day; tattoos are about art, not pain.
I want to remove as many barriers from the tattooing process as possible, so please let me know if this is something you're interested in!

Can you add ashes to my tattoo?

Accepted Answer

Sadly no. 
Some artists do this and I'm happy to recommend you to someone who does.

Personally, I'm a very risk averse person so make every effort to reduce the risk of tattoo complications.
Because I can't guarantee the safety of tattooing with ashes, it's not a service I provide.

I can't guarantee the long term safety of UV ink so this isn't a service I provide, sorry!
