Deposit

Accepted Answer

Your date on the schedule is not secured until a deposit is made. Deposits apply towards the total cost of your tattoo. If you have more than one session scheduled, the deposit applies at the final session. They cannot be shared with another individual.

Full-day appointment deposit: $200

Half-day appointment deposit: $150

Mini session: $80

Deposits are non-refundable.

If you are scheduling a tattoo with a gift card a deposit is not required. Deposits will be paid through Square. An invoice will be sent via text from The Mystic Sister that includes steps on how to complete payment. Once the payment is made, the card used will remain on-file to uphold the No-Show Policy. If you have any questions or issues with completing a payment, please reach out.

By paying a deposit, you agree to comply with all the policies in this form.

I accept cash, card, Venmo and Afterpay for payment. Clients who choose to use a card or Afterpay will be charged an additional 6% processing fee.

If you would like to use Afterpay you must have your Afterpay application processed and approved a week before your appointment. Afterpay offers the choice between 6 or 12 months or in 4 interest-free payments. Details on these plans can be viewed on afterpay.com. Please reach out and I will send you the link to apply!

Question 3

Preparing for your Tattoo

Taking care of your body beforehand is very important. Make sure you are hydrating the week before and moisturizing your skin with unscented lotion. However, on the day of, please do not use lotion. Please shower beforehand and gently exfoliate the area with soap. You do not need to shave, unless you feel confident in doing so. If you show up and your skin is damaged (razor burn, sunburn, too dry, ect.) we will either need to pick another location or re-schedule. Shaving is a part of my prep process, and I do not mind doing it!  Please eat a full meal before coming into your appointment. I recommend bringing snacks and entertainment if you have a longer session scheduled. Make sure your clothing is comfortable, and something you would not mind potentially getting stained by ink. Avoid alcohol the day before and after. I cannot tattoo you if you are taking blood-thinners, antibiotics, or any medication that treats skin conditions. You must bring a valid ID for your waiver forms!

Numbing Cream

Numbing cream should be used on a case by case scenario, unless you're getting a color tattoo. I will not tattoo a color piece with numbing cream use. Be aware that cream changes the texture of the skin, which can cause difficulty with tattooing and possibly extend the session. Furthermore, numbing can cause allergic reactions or have adverse healing effects. Before using cream, please reach out to me before your appointment to ensure that this will work for your session. You MUST do a patch test a few days before your appointment to make sure your skin has no reactions. I will only tattoo skin that has been numbed with the following brand:

I do not recommend using numbing cream for full color tattoos - the time to complete the project may extend significantly.

Pricing

I appreciate the business my clients give me, and I want to return the favor by keeping my price accessible to most. I charge by the session.

Full day sessions are $700 and approximately 6 hours of studio time.

Half day sessions are $500 and approximately 4 hours of studio time.

Mini sessions can range from $150-$400 and are dependent on the tattoo.

This is to encourage longer sessions. The size and details of your tattoo will affect the overall price. I will give you an estimated time frame for your piece- understand it is a loose estimate and there can be some give or take. Large scale projects (i.e. an entire sleeve) will not have a time estimate as they can take a few sessions and are unpredictable in the beginning stages.
