How can I prep for my appointment? 🫧

Running up to your appointment about 1-2 weeks before you should try to exfoliate and moisturise the area you’re being tattooed in as it makes a world of a difference to the skin!✨

On the day of the appointment make sure the area that’s being tattooed is freshly cleaned and please avoid having body lotion or left over fake tan on the area as that can be a bit of a nightmare with the stencil. Please don’t pre shave the area too as we will do this for you.🧼

Before your appointment make sure you have a decent meal and have had a decent nights sleep. Your body can really go through it sometimes, especially in longer sessions and it’ll only make it easier for you if you’re feeling good too! 🍏

Question 2

What should I wear for my appointment?🤠

Accepted Answer

Please wear clothing that makes YOU feel comfortable and preferably darker or neutral colours. I will provide my suggestions below which mainly applies to my female clients but I want to make sure all my clients feel comfortable in their appointments, so if you have any concerns please get in touch. I can also provide privacy screens in the studio if requested.

For different placements I suggest the following;

Arms - a vest top for upper arm or a loose t-shirt for lower arm.

Chest and shoulders - a bandeau top or a vest with adjustable straps.

Torso - a baggy t shirt with a bikini top under or loose fitted vest as I can tape this to wear we need whilst keep you covered. Please avoid a wired bra as it can distort the skin.

Hip/thigh - bikini bottoms, loose fitting shorts or a high slit skirt.

Legs - loose floaty trousers, shorts or a skirt are great options. You don’t want to wear anything too tight as your legs can swell.

Back - backless top, a button up shirt/cardigan or zip up hoodie can be worn backwards to expose the full back without potentially getting cold.

We do have a bathroom where you can get changed so if you need to bring clothes with you that is more than fine! 🎒

Question 3

What time shall I arrive? ✨

Please arrive no earlier than five minutes before your appointment or just bang on the time and I should be set up for ya! 🤩

Is there parking?🚗

Accepted Answer

There are multiple parking spots in the city centre but a slightly cheaper place is Jaipur spice car park which is a five minute walk to the studio. They only accept coins so bear that in mind.💰

Question 5

What should I bring with me to the appointment? 🧃

Accepted Answer

I always recommend bringing a sugary drink or snack with you, especially If you’re in for a longer session. In sessions longer than 3hrs we tend take breaks and there will be time to pop out to grab some food. If you’re super prepared you can bring your own food with ya too!

Please note we do not allow anything that contains peanuts as we have another artist at the studio with a severe peanut allergy.🥜

If you’d like to distract yourself by reading a book or watching something on your phone please bring headphones. If you need to bring a blanket or cozy socks to be comfy that’s also fine too! 🌟

Question 6

When will I see my design? ✏️

Closer to the time of your appointment I’ll be working on your design. I may contact you to go into more detail for your design or ideas.

If you have a change of heart on the design idea or placement please let me know with as much notice as possible so I can make sure the appointment will still work for you! We require 7 days notice realistically as it could mean that your appointment needs to be rescheduled.

I don’t send designs out before the appointment. This is due to; designs being taken elsewhere and to avoid any miscommunication through online messaging. Don’t worry, I do always make sure there’s time in the appointment to make any alterations if needed. 🖤

Question 7

Can I bring someone with me? 👯‍♀️

Please come to your appointment alone. The studio is fairly small and we can’t accommodate all the extra people. If you require someone with you, please communicate this to me prior to your appointment.🥰
