My standard rate is $220/hour with a $150 minimum For larger projects, I offer a 3.5-hour half day for $700 and a 7-hour full day for $1,300 I’ll recommend the most suitable session based on the size, placement and complexity of your tattoo

Do you offer consultations?

Yes! Consultations are free and ideally take place in person so we can properly discuss your idea, placement, size and design. If you’re travelling to Calgary or can’t attend in person, we can arrange a video consultation instead.

When will I see my design?

I aim to send a rough sketch shortly before your appointment so you have an opportunity to request any necessary changes. I take detailed notes during consultations, so the design will be based closely on everything we’ve discussed. Minor adjustments can also be made on the day.

Do you do cover-ups and reworks?

Yes, where I believe I can genuinely improve the existing tattoo. Depending on the existing piece, I may recommend laser fading first, as this can give us considerably more freedom with the new design. Send clear photos of the existing tattoo with your enquiry and I’ll let you know what’s realistically achievable.

Are touch-ups included?

Yes. I offer a free touch-up within six months where needed as part of the normal healing process. This doesn’t cover damage caused during healing, such as picking or scratching the tattoo or not following the recommended aftercare. Touch-ups are assessed case-by-case.

I’m Marcus, a tattoo artist originally from the UK and now based at Deadly Tattoos in Calgary. I’ve been tattooing for over 14 years, specialising mainly in colourful anime, Japanese and illustrative work.

Most of my tattoos are custom pieces designed around each client’s ideas, and I really enjoy taking something someone is passionate about and finding a way to turn it into a tattoo that works with their placement and suits my style.
