How do bookings and deposits work?

All bookings are made through Get Ink. Once I’ve reviewed your enquiry, I’ll get back to you with advice, a quote or price guide, and appointment options if your idea is suitable.

A deposit is required to confirm your appointment and comes off the final price of your tattoo on the day.

Deposits are paid towards the specific tattoo design discussed, not just the appointment slot. For example, if you book in for a lion tattoo, your deposit is for that lion tattoo — not a completely different design, placement, size, or style.

Small tweaks are usually fine, but major changes may need a new quote, a different appointment length, or a new deposit.

Question 2

Can I move, cancel, or rearrange my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but please give at least 72–96 hours’ notice if you need to move your appointment.

Appointments can only be moved where I have availability for the amount of time your tattoo needs. Due to my waiting list, I may not always be able to offer another suitable slot straight away.

If you cancel at short notice, change your mind, or do not give enough notice, your deposit may be lost and a new deposit may be required to rebook.

If you are 25 minutes late with no message, your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit will be lost.

If you no-show your appointment, you will be automatically banned from booking again.

Question 3

When will I see my design, and can I make changes?

I usually aim to draw designs during the week before your appointment.

Your design will normally be sent the night before or around two nights before your appointment, so there is time for any final small tweaks.

Small changes are absolutely fine. However, major changes such as changing the full idea, size, placement, style, or adding lots of extra detail need to be discussed well in advance.

If major changes are requested too close to the appointment, the booking may need to be moved, postponed, or cancelled, and a new deposit may be required.

Do I need ID, and how should I prepare?

Yes, please bring valid photo ID to your appointment. You must be 18 or over to be tattooed.

Before your appointment, please eat a proper meal, stay hydrated, and wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed. For longer sessions, you can bring snacks, a drink, headphones, or a charger.

Please avoid alcohol or recreational drugs before your appointment. Do not use numbing cream unless this has been discussed and agreed beforehand.

No children are allowed at tattoo appointments, and please ask before bringing anyone with you as space may be limited.

After your tattoo, I’ll explain the aftercare properly. Please keep your tattoo clean, avoid picking or scratching, avoid swimming/soaking, and keep it away from sunbeds or direct sun while healing.

Full Day Session 10am–5pm. Best for larger custom pieces. Finish time may vary.	£300.00
Half Day Session Morning or afternoon slots available. Best for medium pieces or smaller detailed tattoos. Finish time may vary.	£180.00
Hourly Rate For smaller tattoos or add-ons that do not require a half/full day. £65 per hour.	£65.00
Minimum Charge For very small, simple tattoos. Final price depends on size, placement and detail.	£40.00
