When will I get my design ?

Accepted Answer

I usually work best on designs the morning of your appointment — I’m an early bird, and this is when you’ll get the best creativity and focus from me.

For larger pieces such as sleeves or ongoing projects, we’ll usually arrange a free consultation beforehand to discuss ideas, references, placement and overall direction.

If you’d feel more comfortable seeing your design before your appointment, you’re always welcome to request this up to a week in advance. I’ll do my best to accommodate where possible, but please bear in mind that during busy periods some designs may still be completed closer to the appointment date.

Does Getting a tattoo hurt?

We like to describe it as spicy, but everybody’s pain threshold is different. Tattoos wouldn’t be popular if they were unbearable.

Can I use numbing cream?

Accepted Answer

We do not recommend the use of numbing cream , it’s unpredictable.

What should I do to prepare for getting tattooed?

Accepted Answer

Always ensure you eat a good meal beforehand, bring a drink with you. (we encourage snack bringing but no products directly with nuts please) We also can’t tattoo over sunburn so look after your skin in the summer.

Is there a risk of infection or scarring?

Accepted Answer

Although rare , with any skin piercing procedure (such as tattooing) it comes with a risk of infection and scarring. However, we pride ourselves with excellent studio cleanliness standards and high-quality and experienced safe tattooing practice.

What should I avoid until my tattoo is healed ? (Usually 2-6 weeks)

-Direct Sun/sunbeds

-Contact Sports / heavy gym use for the first few days

-Animal hair

-Tight clothing on the area

-Swimming/Jacuzzis/Saunas

-Fake Tans

What should I wear for my session?

Accepted Answer

Comfortable and accessible to the tattooed area clothing . You can also bring a change of clothes with you.

-If you are pregnant

-If you are unwell with a cold 
-Discuss with your doctor other illnesses or concerns relating to your health
