Can I use numbing cream?

Accepted Answer

I personally do not recommend numbing cream myself, as there can be adverse reactions to using it. 
HOWEVER… if you do wish you use numbing cream, please let me know, and be careful to read the instructions and apply the products correctly yourself at least 2 hours before your appointment. Make sure to wrap the area tightly in cling film, and I will remove the product before I apply the stencil

Things to consider

- numbing cream can change the texture of the skin, leading to longer tattooing time, irritated skin, difficulty tattooing, and discomfort

- numbing cream can affect healing, leading to prolonged healing times, patchy colour or black work due to skin texture changes, and possible rashes due to reactions

- reactions can be had using numbing cream, please take care and do a patch test with each new tube opened at least 48 hours before your tattoo appointment. If a reaction occurs, we will not be able to use the numbing cream

Kitty does not provide numbing cream, so it will be down the client to supply the product

Question 2

I’m not 18, can my parent/guardian approve my tattoo?

In short, no

It’s illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18, even with parental/guardian consent

I require ID, for proof of age if you are a new client, and/or just turned 18

Question 3

Do you do cover ups?

Accepted Answer

Yes, I am able to do coverups. However, I will need as much information as possible on what you’d like to cover the tattoo. I’ll also need photos of the tattoo to see if I am able to cover the tattoo

If I feel I will not be able to cover up the tattoo, I will say, ans I may suggest laser removal on darker or harder tattoos, before we can cover. Otherwise we may not get the desired effect you are after

Do tattoos hurt?

Yes, I’m short they do. They can be uncomfortable, especially if sat for a prolonged period of time

Each person is different, and pain tolerances vary. Different areas of the body also vary, so it’s hard to judge 
Although, the end product is always work the small amount of pain 🖤

Can I customise flash?

Yes, I can always create a completely custom design based off of a flash piece I’ve draw up previous

Can I bring a friend

Accepted Answer

In short yes, we work in a small private space, so have limited room. Other artists may also be working during your appointment, which could lead to a crowded environment. More than one extra friend can overcrowd the studio and lead to an overstimulating space, which isn’t ideal to make you the most comfortable for your appointment 
However with a heads up we can allow one extra person to accompany you to your appointment

Is there parking?

The studio has its own courtyard, however it can become very busy depending on other business on site
This doesn’t mean there won’t be parking, we may have some, otherwise there are several accompanying roads that are free to park on near the studio

Can you tattoo me if I’m sunburnt?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately no, I’m unable to tattoo you when you are sunburnt in the area we are to tattoo 
The skin will be super sensitive, and in a state of healing itself. Meaning the tattoo will not only be painful, but healing will be very difficult and have complications

I advise anyone who books in to avoid the sun for several days leading up to your appointment so you can receive the best service and experience possible, this will also aid in the tattoo healing process

I also advise to stay out of the sun, and cover up the new tattoo with soft loose clothing when outside. To avoid any possible complications during the tattoo healing process
