Can I get a tattoo under the age of 18 with parents or guardians permission?

No, we do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 years of age. It is illegal. This is in accordance with the 'tattooing of minors act 1969'. You can absolutely book in for after you turn 18 though!

We would be lying if we were to say that tattoos didn't hurt. A lot of it comes down to personal pain threshold, however there is a consensus that tattoos are more of a sensation, not pain.

Does white ink hurt more?

We're debunking the myth of white ink. As a pigment put in via tattoo, white ink doesn't hurt more than any other ink. The reason why people make the association is because the white is done last whilst the area is at it's sorest.

Will colour tattoos work on darker pigmented skin?

Absolutely! Colour tattoos are for everyone! When working with colour, always seek the artists advice on what colours would suit your skin tone best.

Can you tattoo over scarring, etc.?

You can absolutely tattoo over scarring however it all depends on how well the skin is healed. As a general rule of thumb, we would recommend the skin having a minimum of a year to settle after the initial damage before considering the tattoo procedure. This time frame will be different for everyone.

Can you tattoo over birthmarks?

Birthmarks can be tattooed however it's always worth reaching out to your artist to seek their advice depending on the size and condition of the birthmark.

Can you get a tattoo whilst pregnant or breastfeeding?

We will not tattoo you whilst pregnant or breastfeeding. If you were to get an infection whilst you were pregnant or breastfeeding, this could negatively affect your baby, whether it's through your blood or through breastmilk. Pregnancy also means a lowered immune system, which can lead to a higher risk of infection whilst healing any wounds. There's no rush for tattoos, we'll be here when you're ready!
