Question 1

Can I bring a friend?

Accepted Answer

For sure! Provided they are 18+ and happy to sit and wait with you. However there is only space for one extra seat in my room so please try to keep it to one emotional support friend!

Question 2

How can I pay?

Accepted Answer

I am cash only as of Autumn 2026!
(Deposits can still be paid via bank transfer or cash if requested, just pop if in the notes when enquiring or message me.)
Prior to this I accepted bank transfer as payment on the day however I've made the decision to go cash only as it avoids any issues that might occur (phones not working, signal cutting out, issues with banking apps, etc) and saves me from having to chase clients for payment after the appointment. You wouldn't expect to leave the supermarket without paying, getting tattooed is exactly the same!
Going forward, please make sure you come prepared and bring enough cash to your appointment. 🫶

Question 3

Can I use numbing cream?

Accepted Answer

I generally try to avoid numbing cream where possible. I use a plethora of natural numbing products throughout my tattooing process, and am happy to take as many breaks as needed, or split the design across multiple sessions. If you'd like to discuss this please contact me prior to your appointment. If you show up on the day with numbing cream on without discussing with me beforehand, I may be unable to tattoo you and you will need to pay another deposit to rebook.

Question 4

Do you do silent appointments?

Accepted Answer

Of course, I'm more than happy to let you lead the appointment. If you'd like to chat, I'm always up for a yap. If not, I'm more than happy for you to bring headphones/watch TV/read/chill out in peace.

Question 5

What should I wear to get tattooed?

Accepted Answer

This depends on the area however as long as I have access to the area being tattooed you should be fine! You're welcome to bring clothes and change in the studio also. Just make sure not to bring your best clothes as there is always a risk of getting ink on them.

For example...

Lower arm: t shirt
Upper arm: vest
Leg: shorts or loose trousers
Foot: loose fitting shoes such as crocs or sandals
Back: zip up hoodie or shirt which can be worn backwards
Sternum/ribs: bikini top, pasties, or loose fitting vest
Hip: bikini bottoms

My room is totally private so no one will be able to see you other than me!

Question 6

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Moisturise & exfoliate your skin for a week or so prior.
Make sure you're hydrated.
Eat something substantial.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before.
Shower & avoid creams or perfumes morning of.
Pack a bag with snacks/juice/headphones/anything you'd like to keep you entertained!
Pick up some unscented soap and aftercare cream for afterwards.

Question 7

Is there parking at the studio?

Accepted Answer

Yes! There is a car park out the back which is entirely free and has no time limit.

Question 8

Can I see my design before I book?

Accepted Answer

The deposit is there to cover me for any time I spend drawing/preparing for your appointment so unfortunately I won't be able to send any designs prior. There will be time on the day to make minor changes & I will do my absolute best to capture your idea perfectly!

Question 9

Why might I be unable to get tattooed?

Accepted Answer

Please pop as much medical information in when enquiring to ensure I'm able to inform you of any potential issues before the day of your appointment.
If you're pregnant or breastfeeding I will be unable to tattoo you.
If you're ill or on antibiotics for any reason I may be unable to tattoo you, please contact me prior to your appointment for advice if this is the case.
If you've recently given birth there is a waiting period of 6 weeks to allow your body to heal before I'd recommend getting tattooed.
If you've had any surgery recently (including c-section), it is recommended to wait 3-6 months before getting tattooed to ensure your body has adequate time to heal. If you've had surgery recently please contact me and we can discuss appropriate waiting times following your procedure.
If you have any health concerns please feel free to contact me to discuss prior to your appointment.
If you show up on the day without prior discussion and I'm unable to tattoo you, you will unfortunately lose your deposit and a new one will be required to rebook.

Question 10

What happens if I want to change my design?

Accepted Answer

If you want to change your design entirely, 72 hours notice is required to give me time to redraw and ensure we've booked out enough time to complete the new design on the day.
lf for any reason on the day you don't like the design, you are of course under no obligation to get tattooed. I will have time for small tweaks however if you still aren't happy we may need to rebook to give me time to redraw the design. If this is the case I will require a new deposit to rebook.
If this is a concern you have, I offer free consultation appointments prior to booking where we can discuss and come up with a design idea that you'll be happy with.
