How do fine line tattoos heal?

Accepted Answer

Fine line tattoos are designed to look delicate, light and subtle. They don’t heal bold and dark.
It is easy for the small needle configuration to cause “blow outs”, therefore it’s best practice to work lightly, as I can always add but I can’t take away. Therefore, it’s likely that your fine line tattoo may need a top up once healed. This is normal so please don’t panic! It’s part of the process 💖 After a top up 4-6 weeks after your tattoo will age beautifully

How do I prepare for my tattoo?

It is extremely important to follow pre-care ahead of your appointment to get the best out of your tattoo
💧Make sure you’re properly hydrated. Start drinking 2L of water daily a week before your appointment and drink lots the day of your appointment 
🫧Exfoliate & Moisturise skin regularly but not the day of your tattoo. This helps massively
💤Sleep well the night before if you can 
🍔Eat a meal before you arrive 
🍭Bring snacks, drinks
🍹No alcohol or meds that thin your blood 24 hours before
💊Update me with any medical changes (antibiotics, unwell, etc) 
👚Wear comfy and appropriate clothing so the area I’m tattooing is easily accessible 
😎Stay chilled - it will hurt way less than you think!

When will I see my design?

Accepted Answer

After your deposit has paid and you are all booked in, I will start working on your design. I will send it over to you around a week before you’re due in. This allows time for any small changes. If you want any big changes or a different design, then another fee will be charged and potentially having to reschedule the appointment.

What if I change my mind?

Accepted Answer

A tattoo is a life long commitment and I strongly advise only booking in if you are 100% sure you want the tattoo. 
Deposits are non-refundable so please keep this in mind.
It is one deposit per design. So, if you change your mind after I have drawn up your design and you want something completely different, you would need to pay another deposit. I spend a lot of time designing so this covers my time.

What should I bring with me for my appointment?

It’s a good idea to bring yourself a drink and a snack. If you would like to bring a book, iPad, music, etc- then please feel free.

please also bring suitable clothing depending on the placement of your tattoo. For example - if you are having your spine tattooed, you can bring a zip up hoodie to wear back to front

How do I book a top up?

Accepted Answer

Please do this the same way as your original enquiry. Create a new enquiry but state it’s for a top up for your existing tattoo. 
Please attach a photo of your healed photo, in good lighting. I need this to ensure it needs a top up and so I can book out enough time.
I will then get back to you with available dates.
Top ups cost £15 if done within 3 months. After this time the cost may change

Can I use numbing cream?

Ideally, no! 
Numbing creams makes the skin tougher, therefore more pressure has to be applied, which means more trauma. 
Because more trauma than necessary has been caused, it can compromise the heal
So please don’t use any numbing cream prior your appointment. I promise you it’s not going to be as painful as you think!!

What should I wear to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Please wear something comfortable that easily exposes the area you want tattooed. It’s best to wear a dark colour and something you don’t mind getting messy

Can I bring someone with me?

Accepted Answer

Yes you can! It’s a small cabin but theres room for someone else if you feel like you need their support. However I ask that everyone is 18+
