Do you tattoo portraits?

I don’t tattoo realism, so I wouldn’t recreate an animal as a realistic portrait or photograph. However, I absolutely love tattooing animals in my own style! 🖤

I can take the animal you have in mind and create a more stylised, illustrative design that fits the kind of work I do. If you send me your idea and any reference photos, I can work from those while keeping the final tattoo true to my style.

I can recommend other artists in the studio that can tattoo realism for you!

Why was my enquiry declined?

Please note that submitting a tattoo enquiry does not guarantee that your project will be accepted.

I specialise in a particular style of tattooing, and all enquiries are reviewed to ensure that the requested design is a good fit for my style and the work I currently offer.

If I feel that a tattoo falls outside of my style or is not a project I feel I am the right artist for, I reserve the right to respectfully decline the enquiry.

This is never personal. My priority is to only take on pieces that I feel confident I can execute to the highest standard and that accurately represent the style of work shown in my portfolio

Can I bring someone with me?

Please attend your tattoo appointment alone. Guests are not permitted to accompany you unless you require assistance for accessibility or medical reasons or if you are having a matching tattoo together.

This policy is in place to maintain a calm, professional working environment for everyone in the studio. Additional guests can be distracting not only for me, but also for the other artists who are tattooing their clients.

Please also be aware that when you are talking, laughing, or interacting with someone, your body naturally moves, often without you realising it. Even small movements can affect precision, particularly when working on fine lines and detailed areas.

Your tattoo requires my full concentration, and I need you to remain as still and relaxed as possible throughout the appointment.

Please respect this policy and do not bring friends, partners, or family members to your appointment unless they are attending specifically to provide necessary assistance.

Thank you for respecting the studio, the artists working within it, and the other clients having their tattoos done. 🖤

Question 4

What if I’m nervous, can I still bring someone?

Accepted Answer

I completely understand that coming in for a tattoo can feel nerve-racking, especially if it’s your first one. You may feel more comfortable bringing a friend, partner, or family member for moral support, but my no-guest policy still applies, even if you are feeling nervous about your appointment.

I have tattooed hundreds of people, including plenty of clients who arrived feeling anxious or unsure. Part of my job is making sure you feel comfortable, explaining everything as we go, giving you time to settle in, and helping calm those nerves myself. You’ll be in experienced hands.

Having someone with you can actually make it harder to settle. Talking, laughing, and interacting with another person naturally causes you to move, often without realising it. Guests can also be distracting for me and for the other artists working with their own clients in the studio.

For these reasons, please attend your appointment alone. The only exception is if you require someone to accompany you for necessary medical, accessibility, or other assistance needs, or if you are having a matching tattoo together.

Being nervous is absolutely okay and I will make sure you are ok! 🥰

Question 5

Can I bring my children to my appointment?

Please be aware that children are not permitted to attend your tattoo appointment under any circumstances.

I understand that arranging childcare can sometimes be difficult, but a tattoo studio is a professional working environment and is not a safe or appropriate environment for children. There are needles, sharps, equipment, chemicals and other potential hazards within the studio, so for their own safety, children cannot be present while you are being tattooed.

Tattooing also requires my full concentration. Children can understandably become restless, need attention or want to move around, which can be distracting for both myself and the other artists working with their clients. You also need to be able to sit still and relaxed without having to divide your attention between your tattoo and your child.

The only exception is if your child is specifically booked in for a piercing appointment with our piercing lady. Children attending for a booked piercing may enter the studio for that appointment, but they cannot accompany you while you are having a tattoo.

Please arrange childcare before attending your tattoo appointment. If you arrive with a child who is not booked in for a piercing, I will unfortunately be unable to go ahead with your tattoo appointment, and it may need to be rearranged in accordance with my booking/cancellation policy.

This policy is in place for safety, hygiene and to maintain a calm, professional working environment for everyone in the studio.

This policy also applies to all laser appointments.

Question 6

Can I arrive early?

To help appointments run smoothly and ensure I can give every client my full attention, please arrive at your scheduled appointment time and no earlier than 5 minutes beforehand.

The time between appointments is my opportunity to take a necessary break, prepare and sanitise the treatment area, organise equipment, and reset before welcoming my next client.

Arriving early can unintentionally put me under pressure or make me feel rushed during this important time. I want to be fully prepared, relaxed and focused when your appointment begins so that you receive the best possible experience.

If you do arrive early, please wait nearby or in your car until your appointment time.

This policy applies to all tattoo and laser appointments.

Question 7

Can I use numbing cream?

Accepted Answer

You are welcome to use numbing cream for your tattoo appointment if you feel it will make the experience more comfortable for you.

However, please be aware that numbing cream can sometimes affect the texture and condition of the skin. Depending on the product used and how your skin reacts to it, the skin may become softer, firmer, swollen, or otherwise different to work with during the tattooing process.

If you choose to use numbing cream, you do so with the understanding that it may affect how your skin responds during the tattoo and potentially how easily I am able to work on the area.

Please follow the instructions for your chosen numbing product carefully and let me know at your appointment that you have used it.

Ultimately, the choice is yours. I’m happy for you to use numbing cream, but I want you to be fully aware of the possible effects it can have on your skin and the tattooing process
