Can i use numbing cream?

I would prefer you not to use numbing cream, however if you make a note in your booking form or message me, then this can be discussed depending on the tattoo and placement

I am on medication, can I still get tattooed?

This will entirely depend on medications. Please give me all the information when booking as this is for your health. If you are on blood thinners, acne medications like roaccutane, antibiotics, antidepressants, anti seizure medication, immunosuppresants, steroids. This doesn't mean to say you cannot be tattooed whilst taking some of the above. It will entirely depend on specific, dosage etc. We need to know this for the purpose of healing, your safety, our licensing and for any reason that we need to perform first aid or call an ambulance. It may be a tattoo but it is still a form of cosmetic procedure

I'm going on holiday, can I book a tattoo?

If you're going a hot holiday and your skin is not used to the climate of the sun. I need at least 3 week before you go abroad in order to have enough time for your tattoo to heal before you are sitting in the sun. The same goes for returning from being abroad, your skin will have damage from being in the sun and needs time to repair. If I tattoo on your skin when you have been sunbathing, it will be like tattooing tissue paper and struggle to heal well as your skin is already trying to heal from sun damage. Please allow 3 weeks on either side

Can I get a tattoo when I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

No and no. As we are working on the skin and essentially creating a wound, we would never risk infection and causing harm to yourself or the pregnancy. As we work with blood this can travel via the bloodstream to your baby as well as carried in the milk. I cannot tattoo you for a year after giving birth and at least 6 months after you stop breastfeeding due to fluctuating hormones which can affect the healing process of your tattoos.
