How much would you charge for this tattoo?

What is your minimum charge?

My minimum charge is £80 which is for a small, simple tattoo that would take me one needle size to complete and one colour. This could range from a dot to a small simple image

Question 3

How far in advance can I book?

Accepted Answer

Generally I like to fill the next 3 months. If you are travelling a long distance or only have specific dates you can do I can make accommodations for this. Appointments for guest spots and conventions are available a lot further in advance

Do you take walks ins?

I work in an appointment only studio, which means I’m not in the studio if I don’t have an appointment, so I don’t take walk in appointments currently.

Can I see my design beforehand?

I don’t send out designs before appointment, largely due to my workload. I typically design tattoos one or two days before the appointment. Time is set aside during each appointment to show the design and talk through any small changes you’d like to make if needs be. Any major changes to design or placement must be communicated with me at least 3 days before the appointment or you may risk losing your appointment/deposit. This is a super rare occurrence and as long you are clear with what you’d like in the design (saying what you don’t like is also really helpful) then we should be plain sailing!

How can I prepare for my appointment?

There are plenty of things you can do to make your tattoo go as smoothly as possible:

In the time leading up to your appointment, stay hydrated and moisturise/exfoliate the area which is going to be tattooed. This will prime the skin and make the experience as pleasant as it can be! 
Take ibuprofen the day before and morning of, this can help with pain and twitching
Laying off exercise the day before can be beneficial to reduce tender muscle and soreness 
Eat a filling, nutritious breakfast the morning of your appointment to help with stamina and reduce the risk of fainting 
And a have good nights sleep! Drinking and hangovers are not your friend to have a good experience, so please come in hangover free and fresh ✨

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

Please come alone to your appointment as we are a small, appointment only studio with limited seating. If you require someone to come with you due to additional needs please let me know and I can work out how best to accommodate you both 🖤

Can I use numbing cream?

Accepted Answer

Please do not use numbing cream. The use of numbing cream can make the skin more difficult tattoo, affect results of tattoo healing and have unpredictable affects like allergic reactions and skin burns. If you have any concerns about managing the pain, please refer to my FAQ about preparing for the tattoo, or drop me a message!

What can I expect on the day of my appointment?

I understand getting tattooed can be a nerve wracking time, so here’s a little run down of what to expect on the day if you’re feeling anxious!

I’ll greet you and welcome you into the shop, then ask you to fill in a consent form. If you’re lucky enough to look under 18, I will ask you for ID so please make sure you have photo ID with you.

I’ll show you a fully shaded version of the design, and this is when we can make any small changes if needed. We will then discuss placement and size and get the stencil on. If you’d like me to move the stencil please let me know, I’m happy to do so.

If you would like a privacy screen I’m happy to provide that for you, and please bring anything that may occupy you whilst your being tattooed like headphones, books and sensory aids.

Once we get going, I’ll regularly check to see if you’re feeling okay and you can let me know if you need a break, it’s no problem. If you’re in for a longer session we will also stop for lunch for about half an hour.

Once we are done you will have some time to check your new tattoo out in the mirror and then I’ll wrap in second skin/cling film and go over aftercare with you

The studio is appointment only and my aim is to make your time with me as relaxing as possible, so let me know if there’s anything I can do to make you more comfortable.

Question 10

What is your cancellation/deposit policy?

Deposits are required for every booking. The deposit price comes off your initial quote on the day and is non refundable. 
I require a minimum of - 3 days notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment at my resident studio Passenger Tattoo, or 14 days to cancel or reschedule if you’re booked for a guest spot or convention. 
You can reschedule once and use the same deposit. Any further reschedules will require a new deposit, and you will forfeit the previous deposit.

If you are more than half an hour late, you run the risk of losing your deposit/appointment, so let me know if you’re running late before the appointment.

3/4 day 4-5 hours - larger than hand sized tattoo	£400.00
Half day 3 hours - roughly hand sized tattoo	£300.00
2 hours Roughly palm sized tattoo	£200.00
