Can I use numbing cream?

Yes! If you’re wanting to use numbing cream for your appointment please let me know during the booking process. If you haven’t used this product before please patch test it at home on an area that is NOT getting tattooed a few days before your appointment. Look out for any rash, itching, welts or any other signs of allergic reactions that appear. Mild redness or a “pink” tint is perfectly normal. If your patch test turns out okay, apply a generous amount to the tattoo area and cover with clingfilm around an hour before coming in for your appointment. Leave the clingfilm on until you’re in the studio and I will assist in taking off the numbing cream so I can assess your skin. Please keep in mind any allergic reaction will not be tattooable, and your deposit will be forfeited if you choose not to patch test and show to your appointment with an allergic reaction in the area.

What if I need a touch up?

If you’re noticing that your tattoo hasn’t healed as perfectly as you would like it to have, please contact me ASAP. Following your tattoo appointment, All touch ups are free for the first 3 months. I want you to love your tattoo, and I would rather you message me for a touch up than remain not 100% happy with it

What should I avoid following my tattoo?

Your tattoo takes roughly 3 weeks to fully heal, even if it begins to feel healed sooner than that. During this period you should avoid: •Saunas •Sunbeds (I would recommend waiting 6 weeks if possible as the last thing you want is for your tattoo to burn) •Baths •Swimming pools or open water •Direct Sun exposure •Heavy Lotions •Perfumes or Deodorant’s on the tattoo area •Tight clothing or accessories on the tattoo area Showering as normal is perfectly fine, just avoid submerging your fresh tattoo in water and be careful with your shampoos and body wash
