🌷 Where are you based?

Hedgerow tattoo is my private studio located in Tamworth, Staffordshire in England. It is a self contained, cosy space and my aim here is for you to feel settled,
comfortable and safe. It’s a completely private studio and solely ground floor based so fully accessible if you have any mobility restrictions. Space is very limited so please attend your appointment alone unless absolutely necessary and in this case, please do make me aware when booking.

Question 2

🌸 What information is required on your booking form?

Accepted Answer

You will need to provide a clear but concise description of your tattoo idea. Please try and keep this to a single paragraph and include only information that's relevant to your tattoo design itself otherwise it can get a bit confusing for me to piece together what you’re wanting! 
You will also need to include clear, straight on photos of the area you are wanting tattooed. Please make sure these aren’t mirrored images, sometimes your phone can flip them so please double check before sending. It’s generally best if you can get someone to help you or use a timer on your phone camera. Please don’t take them in the mirror! 
Please include any surrounding tattoos that may affect placement/size/shape of the new tattoo and any scars. 
Photos are super important so please take the time to make sure they are clear and not angled. 
Lastly, if you have any reference photos you think I will find helpful for your design then please attach those too.
It sounds like a lot but if you can take the time to fill out the form as best as possible, it will make the process super easy 💖

🌷 Do you offer consultations? Can I see my design before my appointment?

Unfortunately I don’t offer phone consultations nor do I offer in person consultations unless absolutely necessary. If you have taken the time to provide the correct information in my booking form then this should be all I will need to book you in 💫
I will always aim to send over the rough version of your design a few days before your appointment so we can check that you are happy before the day of your tattoo.

Question 4

🌸 Do you do cover ups/reworks? Can you tattoo over my scars?

Cover ups/reworks are totally dependent on what it is you already have and what your expectations are from me. I will always help if I can but there are limitations so I would need to see clear photos and measurements of your existing piece before saying what is doable for you. 
I can absolutely tattoo over any scars you may have as long as they are fully healed.

🌷 How do I prepare for a tattoo with you?

Once booked in, your appointment page will outline what you need to do to prep for your appointment. This includes information on skin prep, studio info for what to expect on the day and payment options.

🌸 I’m not sure if you will tattoo my idea, what do I do?

Ask! Always ask! I’m always open to tattooing new things as long as they are still doable within my style of work and I’m confident I’ll be able to do it well for you ✨

🌷 What are your rates?

*Please note - for an accurate quote you will need to fill out my booking form with all the relevant info and from there I will be able to give you an idea of price. You can also let me know here whether you have a specific budget in mind.* 
Instead of a blanket day rate, I charge between £550-650 for a day sitting depending on the complexity of your design, sittings required etc. Designs that require less time than a day sitting will be priced per piece. 
Multiple sitting/large scale tattoos (full sleeves etc) are priced at a discounted rate as I appreciate both the financial and time commitment for clients wanting this kind of work. 
All bookings require a *non refundable and non transferable* fee from £100-200 and this is deducted the total left to pay on the day of your appointment. 
Please remember that the price covers more than just my time, skill and experience but also equipment, consumables, studio rent and all drawing, admin time and even the use of this app ✨
