What do I wear to my appointment?

Loose and comfortable clothing is always best! And preferably something you don’t mind getting ink on, as it can be stained. I will never ask you to remove more clothing than necessary and want you to feel as comfortable as possible at your appointment! 
For more specific areas don’t hesitate to ask, although here are some commonly asked placements -

☆ Back - backless top or button up/zip up top to wear backwards 
☆ sternum - baggy T that can be tied or button up shirt 
☆ hip - tie side bikini bottoms or loose shorts that can be moved up/down

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

Preferably not! Our studio has a small waiting area with multiple clients through the day. Unless previously discussed with your artist (for example matching tattoo sessions) please arrive alone :)

Should I bring anything with me to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

You’re more than welcome to bring some form of entertainment, especially if you have a long sitting ahead. Think books/ kindles or headphones. It varies person to person how you prefer to do this, but happy to chat with you through the appointment! It’s also a good idea to have some sugary snacks/drinks on hand to keep your blood sugar up, although there’s plenty selection nearby as we’re right in the city centre!

How do I prepare for my tattoo?

Accepted Answer

☆ Avoid the sun (if we’re lucky to have it) the week leading up to your appointment to avoid sunburn as I won’t be able to tattoo you! 
☆ To make the tattooing process smoother for me, light exfoliation and moisturising the weeks prior can help a lot with skin texture! 
☆ Get a good nights sleep the night before and have a hearty meal! 
☆ Shaving - we have razors for that! If the area is particularly hairy, a trim can help speed up the process, but don’t stress it. 
☆ Avoid any drugs/alcohol! You want to be feeling the best you can and ensure your body can handle the tattooing process, skip the night out before :) 
☆ Chill, don’t panic + look forward to your new artwork :)
