Can I bring someone to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

The studio area is quite small so if you can please come to your appointment by yourself. There is of course exceptions to this (bringing a carer, matching tattoos etc) so if you would like or need to bring someone along please let me know beforehand.

Question 2

I can’t make my appointment, what should I do?

Accepted Answer

If you need to rearrange your appointment I ask that you give atleast 7 days notice. Giving this much notice will also protect your deposit, and you can move the appointment to a different date.

However, I understand that some things are out of our control. If illness/emergency means you can’t attend, please please let me know as soon as possible.

If you don’t turn up to the appointment or cancel last minute this means your deposit will be lost and a new deposit is required to re book.

Question 3

My tattoo needs a touch up, how do I arrange this?

Accepted Answer

It’s common with all tattoos (especially fineline) that a touch up may be required. This is normal and doesn’t mean anything has gone wrong during the appointment.

If it’s a tattoo I’ve done, I offer first touch ups free of charge. There’s a few exceptions to this, depending on the placement of the tattoo, poor aftercare or if it’s another artists work.

Fill out an enquiry form as normal and I’ll get in touch with you, please note touch ups needs to be atleast 6 weeks after the initial appointment to make sure everything it’s fully healed.

Question 4

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Short answer is YES. Deposits protect from loss of earnings and clients that don’t show up to their appointment. The price of a deposit varies depending on the size of the appointment, and the amount will always come off the total cost on the day of your booking. I cannot secure an appointment without one.

Question 5

When can I see my design?

I don’t typically send out designs ahead of the appointment, when you get to the studio I’ll show you the design and we can make any changes until you’re completely happy.

Although minor changes can be made, a request of an entirely new design will occur an additional charge, and the appointment may need to be rescheduled to accommodate this.

Question 6

What should I bring to my appointment?

Photographic ID
I’d recommend bringing along some snacks and a drink to your appointment, as well as anything that will make you feel more comfortable. This could be a book, headphones etc.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Always wear something comfortable and preferably darker coloured clothing. This is incase any ink gets onto your clothes, as this will not come off in the wash.

Certain placements need different clothing, if you’re not sure please pop me a message and ask. Below are a few examples

- back placement (a zip up hoodie/cardigan that can be worn backwards ) 
- sternum (same as above, a baggy top or a bikini top) 
- thigh ( a flowy skirt or shorts ) 
- arm ( a vest top or baggy t shirt )

I will always offer nipple covers and have privacy screens to put up to make you more comfortable, regardless of the placement screens are always available, please let me know if you’d like these to be up.
