🍋 Do you do cover-ups ? Can you tattoo over scars?

Accepted Answer

Cover-ups and reworks are always assessed on a case-by-case basis, as they depend on what you currently have and what you’re hoping to achieve. I’m always happy to help where possible, but there are certain limitations, so I’ll need clear photos and measurements of your existing tattoo before confirming what can be done.

Tattooing over scars is usually possible as long as they are fully healed. If you’re unsure, feel free to include photos and details in your booking form so I can advise you properly.

🍌 Do you offer consultations?

I don’t usually offer phone or face-to-face consultations, as most details can be comfortably discussed through my booking form and messages. Taking the time to provide clear information and references allows me to fully understand your idea and prepare for your appointment.

If anything needs clarifying, I’ll always make sure we have the opportunity to discuss it beforehand, so you feel informed and confident before your session. 💖

🍑 Design process

As a rule, designs will not be sent via email. This protects my work from being copied or taken to another artist.

Exceptions apply if:
 • You have chosen one of my available designs
 • We are working on a large-scale, multi-session piece (e.g. full back piece)

Your design will be revealed and reviewed on the day of your appointment. Time for any necessary adjustments is factored into your session.

All designs are custom-made by me, based on the information and references you provide, ensuring a truly unique tattoo created just for you.

🍓 How many sessions will my tattoo take?

This is one of the most common questions I’m asked, especially for larger projects like arm sleeves or back pieces. The number of sessions (and overall cost) can vary greatly from person to person and from project to project.

Factors such as size, level of detail, placement, skin type, and how well you sit during the tattoo all play a part. Because of this, it isn’t possible to give a one-size-fits-all answer, but I’ll always do my best to give you an honest estimate once your idea has been discussed.

To ensure the best experience and outcome, please follow these guidelines before your appointment:

• Avoid alcohol for two days before your appointment.
• Have a full meal within a few hours before your session. 
 • Stay hydrated and well-rested. 
 • Keep the area to be tattooed moisturised for a few days leading up to your appointment.

🍉 What to bring to my appointment?

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. You’re more than welcome to bring anything that helps you feel comfortable, such as a favourite pillow, warm socks, or a dressing gown (if we’re working on a larger project that requires minimal clothing). Anything that helps you relax and feel cosy is absolutely encouraged 🤍

Please remember to bring water and sugary snacks to keep your energy levels up. Snacking throughout the session really makes a difference 🥰

For longer sessions, I sometimes like to listen to an audiobook while working, so feel free to bring entertainment such as a book, headphones, an iPad to watch a film, listen to music, or anything else that helps the time pass comfortably ✨

Question 10

🍇 Can I bring a plus one to my appointment?

I don’t generally allow plus ones, simply because the studio can get quite busy and extra people can make the space feel a bit cramped 🤏
That said, it’s always okay to ask. In some situations I may say yes, but please note that your guest might not be able to stay for the entire appointment. Sometimes there is more than one artist working in the same room, and if another client needs more privacy, I may kindly ask them to step out.
