How do I book an appointment?

If you are interested in any of my flash pieces, you should be able to select the exact piece you want while filling out an enquiry form. Feel free to let me know if you would like any changes to the design, any major changes means I may still keep the original flash piece up and charge you a different price.

If you'd like a custom piece, fill out an enquiry form with as much information as you can and we can talk through your ideas.

Question 2

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a non-refundable deposit will be required to book your appointment. It is usually between £40-100 and will be taken off the total on the day.

How much do you charge?

Accepted Answer

Each piece is charged according to detail and size, some pieces may require more than one session. Feel free to fill out an enquiry form and I can give you a more accurate quote.

When will I see the design?

I start working on designs the week of the appointment. I try to send the design 24-48 hours before the appointment to make time for small changes. It's very rare that I'd be able to send the design before this time frame.

Do you do cover-ups?

I don't have the most experience with cover-ups so I will only accept them if I think it's something I could do. If it's out of my depth I will try to recommend you someone else or may recommend laser to lighten the piece up.

Can I use numbing cream?

Accepted Answer

I prefer if you do not use numbing cream in the appointment due to it changing the texture of the skin and sometimes even the healing process. 
- People can also react differently to it, it doesn't last very long for most people and the switch up can feel very uncomfortable halfway through. 
- I've seen people have flare ups or reactions due to buying certain numbing creams which aren't regulated. 
- I know the idea of getting a tattoo can be quite daunting to some people but I promise I will be as gentle as possible and check in with you/have breaks when needed. There is also no pressure to get a whole tattoo done in one session, we can split it up to make it more comfortable for you if the pain is too much.

Can I bring someone with me to the appointment.

Please come alone to your appointment. Unfortunately our studio does not have room for everyone to bring guests with them. If you do show up with someone and the studio happens to be busy that day, they may be politely asked to wait elsewhere. 
If you require someone with you at your appointment (e.g. a carer) please let me know in your enquiry form and I can try to get you booked in on a quieter day.

Can I book in for multiple tattoos on the same day?

yes of course, please let me know on the same enquiry form so there's no confusion and I will let you know if all can be done on the same day.

How should I prepare for the appointment?

Accepted Answer

- Good sleep the night before.
- Have something to eat beforehand.
- Avoid alcohol the day before.
- Moisturise/exfoliate the area a week before the appointment.
- Bring snacks and some distractions with you (headphones, book,  game, etc)

How do I look after my tattoo?

Accepted Answer

I will go over aftercare with you in the appointment but here is some reminders:

-Take the cling film wrap off your tattoo 3 hours after the tattoo is finished. 
-Gently wash the tattoo with clean hands and unscented soap and then pat dry with kitchen roll. 
-Cover on the first night only with fresh cling film to avoid stickiness.
-Wash the tattoo once or twice a day after this.
-Start applying a thin layer of moisturiser (palmers coco butter or aveeno is recommended) a couple of times a day for 2-3 weeks or until the tattoo is healed.

DO:
- keep it clean and moisturised
- let it breathe and wear loose clothing on the area where possible
DON'T:
- have it under direct sunlight while healing. (once it's healed use SPF50 to keep it's longevity.)
- no picking and scratching while it's healing
- avoid submerging it in water (baths and swimming) while it's healing
