How much do you charge?

I typically price by piece and the cost is determined by size, placement, detail, colour etc…
You can also add your budget and I can advise you on what we can do that will fit this.

For large scale pieces and pieces spanning multiple sessions are £90 an hour or £450 for a 6 hour day session.

Question 2

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Deposits are required for the booking. This is to ensure my design time is compensated. The deposit will depend on the length of time you’re booking for and usually starts at £50.

Deposits are non refundable, but will come off the total. If you need to change your appointment date, make sure to give ample time to let me know and I can roll it over to the new appointment date. If you cancel the night before, day of, or don’t show up, your deposit will unfortunately be lost.

What is the best way to prepare for my tattoo?

Accepted Answer

In the days leading up to your appointment, make sure to clean, exfoliate and moisturise your skin. This will ensure the process goes smoothly. If you have any skin conditions (eczema etc..) it’s best to make sure they are dormant before getting tattooed in that area as it can affect the healing process.

Avoid alcohol at least 24 hours before your appointment (preferably longer) and keep your hydration up. Alcohol thins blood which can dilute and push out the ink. Meaning your tattoo may not heal nice and solid like we want it to.

On the day, make sure you have eaten something and wear something comfortable with easy access to the area to be tattooed. I also would t recommend wearing your best clothes. I try my best to avoid getting ink or stencil on your clothes, but it can happen and isn’t easy to wash out.

It’s also recommended to bring a sugary drink or snack as this will help with the adrenaline rush that can make some people feel woozy.

How do I look after my new tattoo?

Accepted Answer

Once the tattoo is done, I will typically wrap it in a protective film. If the film isn’t suitable for your skin, clingfilm will be used instead. If you have the protective film, it’s best to keep this on for between 24 hours and three days. For clingfilm, just keep it on till you get home. Once you’ve removed the film, you’ll want to give your tattoo a wash with clean warm water and the flat of your clean hand. You can also use an antibacterial soap if you’d like, just make sure it’s unscented. Allow the tattoo to air dry (you can pat dry with a fresh paper towel also) make sure to clean your tattoo twice a day during the healing process. As your tattoo heals, it will get dry and flaky so moisturise your tattoo twice a day. I recommend using a balm that has no nasty ingredients, cocoa butter or coconut oil are my go to’s and tattoo aftercare balms are readily available in most places now.
