INKKPIT TATTOO STUDIO
Booking Agreement T&C’s & FAQs

**DEPOSITS**
All appointments at INKKPIT require a deposit to secure the allocated time in the artist's diary.

All deposits are non-refundable.
Whether a deposit is deductible or non-deductible will be clearly stated within your individual quote and booking offer. Please refer to the deposit terms provided specifically for your booking.

**Smaller Projects & Individual Day Sessions**
For smaller projects and individual sessions, a £20–£50 deposit is typically required.

This is typically a deductible, non-refundable deposit, unless otherwise stated within your individual quote.

Where stated as deductible, the deposit:
* Secures your individual sitting in the artist's diary.
* Is deducted from the total cost of that sitting.
* Leaves the remaining balance payable on the day of your appointment.

If you are working towards a larger project, such as a sleeve, but choose to book one individual day at a time, your artist will design and prepare the work required for the individual session you currently have booked.

Booking one day at a time does not reserve the remaining sessions required for the project and does not include the artist designing the entire finished concept upfront.

Instead, the project will be designed and developed progressively as each individual session is booked.

**Sleeves, Multi-Day Pieces & Full Concepts Booked Upfront**
If you choose to book a sleeve, multi-day piece or larger concept as a complete project upfront, a £100–£200 deposit is required, depending on the scale of the project, the amount of design time required and the number of sessions being reserved.

This deposit is non-deductible and non-refundable, unless otherwise specifically stated within your individual quote.

The £100–£200 project deposit covers two important elements of your booking:

Bespoke full-concept design & planning
Your artist will dedicate out-of-hours time to designing, developing and planning your overall project upfront. Rather than designing only the work required for your next sitting, the artist can consider the complete concept, composition, flow, placement and how each section will work together as the project progresses.

Reservation of your project sessions
The deposit also secures the agreed sessions required for the project within the artist's diary.

Once the £100–£200 project deposit has been paid, another deposit will not be required for the sessions already reserved as part of that project booking.

Because the deposit pays towards the artist's bespoke out-of-hours design and planning of the overall project, it is not deducted from the individual day/session balances when stated as non-deductible.

The individual session balances remain payable separately at the agreed rate.

**Sleeve Deposit Guide**
As a general guide:

Outer or inner sleeve / multi-day section: £100 project deposit
Full sleeve / larger full concept, e.g. back piece: £200 project deposit

These are typically non-deductible and non-refundable when the project is being booked and designed upfront, unless your individual quote specifically states otherwise.

If you prefer to build a sleeve gradually and book one sitting at a time, the smaller individual-session deposit structure may instead apply. In this case, only the work required for the booked session will be prepared and designed for that sitting — the entire finished sleeve concept will not be designed upfront and the remaining sessions will not be reserved.

Your individual quote will always confirm the exact deposit required, whether it is deductible or non-deductible, and what is included within your particular booking.

Once a booking offer has been sent, you will have 24 hours to process the required deposit and secure your appointment(s). If payment is not received within this timeframe, the offered dates will be released to another client.

**CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING**
All deposits are non-refundable.

For larger projects, cancellations or rescheduling requests must be communicated at least 7 days before your appointment. Failure to provide the required notice will result in your deposit being forfeited.

For smaller projects booked with a £50 deposit, a minimum of 3 days' notice is required.

Where sufficient notice is provided, INKKPIT will always move your appointment to the artist's next suitable availability.

Please bear in mind that some of our artists can be booked several months in advance, so a rescheduled appointment may be considerably later than your original date.

For large-scale projects where multiple sessions have been reserved, any changes to those sessions should be communicated to the studio as early as possible.

**DESIGN CHANGES**
If you need to make a significant change to the concept discussed within your original enquiry, please contact us through your GET INK portal as early as possible.

We require a minimum of 3 days' notice for design-change requests.
Please be aware that significant changes to an agreed concept may require additional design time, a revised quote or, where necessary, a different appointment structure should the requested changes vary significantly from the original concept.

The tattoo process officially begins once you are taken through for your appointment and preparations commence, including skin preparation, placement and stencil application.

**FULL-DAY RATE**
A full-day rate covers far more than the time spent physically tattooing.

Your booking incorporates the complete service provided by your artist, including preparation, reference gathering, design work, setup of the sanitary workstation, skin preparation, placement, stencil application and the artist's professional expertise throughout the sitting.

You are booking the artist's dedicated time, experience and expertise for that session rather than purchasing a set number of hours of tattooing.

**QUOTED PIECES**
The majority of work completed at INKKPIT is quoted by the piece or session rather than charged hourly.

Our pricing reflects the complete service involved in creating permanent artwork, including design preparation, reference gathering, sanitary setup, skin preparation, placement, stencil application and the expertise of your artist.

The speed at which an experienced artist works should not reduce the value of their work. Our focus is on completing your piece to the highest possible standard rather than stretching or rushing a project to fit an hourly price.

**MINIMUM CHARGE**
Some smaller or low-complexity pieces may not naturally fall within our standard pricing categories.

INKKPIT therefore operates a minimum charge of £70.

A small non-refundable deposit will be required to secure the appointment. Where this deposit is stated as deductible, it will be deducted from the remaining balance payable on the day.

Your exact price and deposit structure will always be confirmed before booking.

**ESTIMATED QUOTES & PROJECT TIMELINES**
All session and project timelines provided by INKKPIT are estimates.

The time required can vary depending on the size, complexity, placement and level of detail involved, alongside how the individual client and skin respond during each sitting.

Our artists generally price work either by the piece or by session/day rate. Your individual quote will therefore be based on the information provided within your GET INK enquiry.

For larger projects, we may provide an estimated number of sessions required to complete the overall piece.

While we aim to make these estimates as accurate as possible, tattooing is not an exact science. Occasionally, additional time/hours or another sitting may be required to complete a project to the standard expected by both the artist and INKKPIT.

We will never rush permanent work simply to remain within an original time estimate.

If additional time is required, your artist will discuss this with you at the time.
It is important to remember that there are a significant number of variables that can affect a quoted piece or timeline, and the artists completing the work are human. We are very precise when it comes to quoting and are generally very accurate due to the experience we have within the industry. However, unforeseen variables such as skin, bleeding, height, weight, the size of the limb and other individual factors can impact a provisional quote or estimated timeline.

**FAQs**
HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE TO GET TATTOOED?
You must be 18 or over to be tattooed at INKKPIT.
Valid photographic identification may be requested as proof of age. Parental consent cannot be used to tattoo somebody under the age of 18.

CAN I SEE MY DESIGN BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
Designs are typically revealed on the morning of your appointment rather than being sent out beforehand.

Your artist will have reviewed the information, references and ideas supplied within your enquiry and will prepare your design according to the concept discussed, to the highest of standards.

You will always have the opportunity to see and review your design on the morning of your appointment before tattooing begins.

If there are any adjustments you would like to make, these can be discussed directly with your artist during your design review.

For sleeves, multi-day pieces and larger concepts booked upfront with the £100–£200 project deposit, the artist will dedicate out-of-hours design time to planning and developing the overall project.

If a larger project is instead being completed one individual session at a time, the artist will prepare the work required for the session currently booked. The entire finished project will not be designed upfront without the full project deposit.

WHAT AFTERCARE SHOULD I FOLLOW?
Your artist will provide aftercare instructions specific to your tattoo and the healing method being used.

Please always follow the individual instructions given to you by your artist.

As general guidance:
* Keep the area clean and follow the washing instructions provided by your artist.
* Use only the aftercare products recommended for your healing method.
* Do not pick or scratch the healing tattoo.
* Avoid direct sunlight while the tattoo is healing.
* Once completely healed, regularly using a high-SPF sunscreen can help protect against UV-related fading.
* Avoid swimming, hot tubs, sun beds and soaking the tattoo during the initial healing period as instructed by your artist.
* Don’t overkill with the moisturizer, just a small thin layer in order to not clog the pores.
* Recommended moisturizer - Palmers Unscented Cocoa Butter.

If you're concerned about your healing, contact the studio for advice. If you develop symptoms suggesting a significant infection or illness, seek appropriate medical advice.

CAN I GET TATTOOED IF I'M FEELING UNWELL?
We generally advise against being tattooed while you're unwell.

Aside from making a long sitting considerably less comfortable, illness can affect how you feel throughout the appointment and may expose artists, staff and other clients to infection and illness.

If you're unwell before your appointment, please contact us through GET INK or social media as soon as possible so we can advise you on rescheduling.

CAN I BOOK A COVER-UP?
Absolutely.

Several of our artists undertake cover-up work; however, whether an existing tattoo can successfully be covered depends on factors including its size, darkness, placement and the new concept.

Please submit clear photographs of the existing tattoo through your GET INK enquiry form, alongside your ideas for the new piece.

We can then assess the area and advise on the most appropriate approach.
Some existing tattoos may need to be lightened with laser treatment before an effective cover-up can be achieved.

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
All INKKPIT enquiries and bookings are managed through GET INK.

Select our Book Now / GET INK option and complete the enquiry form with as much information as possible about your idea.

Please include reference images where appropriate and let us know if you have a particular artist in mind. If you're happy to give the artist creative freedom within a particular concept or theme, please let us know.

If you don't know which artist would be best suited to your project, that's absolutely fine. The studio can advise and direct your enquiry to the most suitable artist.

Once your enquiry has been reviewed, we'll respond through your GET INK portal with any design considerations, estimated pricing/session requirements and the appropriate booking options.

Once you're happy to proceed, your booking offer and deposit request will be sent securely through GET INK.

Your booking is only confirmed once the required deposit has been processed.

Your individual quote will clearly confirm your deposit amount, whether it is deductible or non-deductible, and exactly what that deposit covers.

We look forward to welcoming you to INKKPIT!
