Bette Tattoo

Hello,

My name is Megan and I own Bette Tattoo.

I first started tattooing in April 2025, after finally plucking up the courage to give it a go after years of dreaming about doing it.

I have always been interested in art, having launched a painting business in 2018 at the age of 19. I specialised in pet portraits and fun, whimsical, watercolour characters. I did this for about 4 years full time from my studio at home.

After covid came and went, I felt I wanted get back into the world of being around people more. I picked up a part -time job in the NHS as a Clinical Support Worker. This job allowed me to learn about the importance of hygiene, working in a clinical environment, needle safety, blood borne virus prevention, clinical waste management, first aid etc. Which is all skills I now put into place in my role within my tattoo studio.

It's like I combined my of artwork, with my skills learned working as a Clinical Support Worker and put them into practice in tattooing.

Thats all the formal stuff.......but on a personal level....

I'm a caffeine addict.

I have two dogs - a black Labrador called Bee 🐝 and a golden cavapoo called Honey 🍯.

I love making people feel empowered with new ink.

I'm a libra (yes I Cry a a LOT).
