Obviously still taking bookings but to avoid previous burnout with months booked up, I feel this will help my mental stability and make sure you all get a perfect tattoo 💙

It’s my first tattoo. What should I do to prepare?

Please make sure your personal care is sorted before coming for your appointment. Shower before hand 😊 Drink plenty of water in the days before, and moisturise the area. We recommend to have a good breakfast! Having food in your system helps massively to prevent passing out. Take some Ibuprofen (if you’re not allergic to penicillin) Bring snacks and sugary drinks, like lucozade, to help keep your blood sugar up

How can I pay on the day?

Please bring cash to keep costs down 😊

Do you do hand/finger tattoos?

Yes. But please be aware that we lose 4x the amount of skin on our hands due to general use. Pockets, bags, washing etc. This might mean that your tattoo will need at least one touch up, maybe more

Can I consent to my under 18 getting tattooed?

NO! It is against the law to tattoo a person under the age of 18 due to the tattooing of minors act 1969. If a tattoo artist carries out a tattoo on a person under the age of 18, they could face a fine of up to £1000, could be at risk of losing their license and registration and face legal charges of GBH

What should I wear to my appointment?

Please think about the placement of the tattoo. If you are having a leg tattoo, don’t wear skinny jeans. Loose fitting clothing is always best. Wear clothing that you wouldn’t mind being damaged by ink. Ie. Wearing a white t shirt while getting top of an arm tattooed. The occasional ink splatter will happen

Can I bring something to distract me?

Of course! Bring headphones, a book, a friend if needed. Please be careful though that you don’t have to move around (like a portable games console) and make my job harder.

Can I use numbing cream?

You can, as long as you buy and apply before your appointment to save your time and mine. It takes about an hour to work so before your appointment, apply a thick layer and wrap tightly in clingfilm

My name is Kym Mitchell and I have been tattooing for nearly 14 years, but the path really began when I was just 15 years old. Sitting beside my dad as he got inked, I felt an immediate connection to the art form and knew without doubt that tattooing was what I wanted to do with my life. College became more of a way to fill the time while I eagerly waited for the chance to begin my journey. On my 18th birthday in August 2011 (yes, I’m that old)… I finally stepped into a studio for the first time, though I didn’t tattoo anyone until the following May. That long wait gave me patience, discipline, and respect for the craft. Since then, tattooing has grown into both my career and lifelong passion.
