Aftercare advice?

At the end of the session I’ll wrap the tattoo up using dermalize which is a sticky, second skin dressing. You’ll be able to leave this on for 3 days and still be able to go in the shower (however I would avoid getting it too wet just incase it breaks down the adhesive and slips off). After the 3 days you can take the dressing off in the shower using lukewarm water and wash with your hand using the water. Let it air dry and apply a light layer of cream a couple of times a day. I usually recommend cocoa butter or coconut oil. You can also buy Underdog Tattoo healing butter at the studio.

If you are allergic to adhesives or second skin, I will instead wrap the tattoo up with a light layer of cream and clingfilm which will have to be changed a few times a day. During the cleaning process it should be washed with lukewarm water and clean hands, air dried and then wrapped back up with a light layer of cream and clingfilm again. I usually recommend using the clingfilm for the first and second day whilst it’s still a bit of an open wound.

Rescheduling

Accepted Answer

I ask for at least 4 days notice for rescheduling an appointment. Any less than this notice period will result in the forfeiture of your deposit for a new/rescheduled appointment to cover work loss, difficulty filling the space and any time spent drawing the design.

I can only reschedule an appointment once with the existing deposit (with the notice period) and any further rescheduling will forfeited the current deposit and a new one would be needed to secure the appointment

Deposit policy

Accepted Answer

A non-refundable deposit via bank transfer is needed to secure an appointment which comes off the final amount on the day. The deposit depends on the session booked with £100 being the maximum deposit asked for. A booking isn’t confirmed until a deposit is down.
