How much will it cost?

The cost of a tattoo can vary based on several factors, including its size, level of detail, placement, style, the time required, and whether it’s in color or black and gray. I’m happy to provide you with a price estimate, but please keep in mind that I’ll need detailed information about the design to do so accurately. :)

Question 2

Can I bring people with me?

The short answer is yes! You’re welcome to bring one person along for moral support. However, please note that the studio can sometimes get a bit crowded, so your companion may be asked to wait in the designated waiting area until your tattoo is complete.

Will it hurt?

Let’s be real—getting a tattoo isn’t exactly a walk in the park. How much it hurts depends on loads of things, like where it’s going, the style, and how long you’re in the chair. The best way I can describe it? Sort of like a mix between bad sunburn and an annoyed cat clawing at you. That said, everyone feels it differently—some people even say it’s quite relaxing (I know, I’m surprised too).

Can you design something before I book?

I do not create any designs until a booking fee is paid and an appointment date is set. This policy helps ensure that my time is respected. While I absolutely love working on custom designs, please keep in mind that I typically have a busy schedule, so I usually begin designing about 1-3 days before your appointment. If requested, I can send you the design a few days in advance, but I can only accommodate minor changes at that point. Any additional adjustments will be made during your session to allow for better communication and collaboration.

Is there parking?

Sure! Here’s the isolated version:

Good news—there’s free parking at the Co-op just a two-minute stroll from the studio. If you’re feeling rebellious, there’s roadside parking right outside, but it’s only for 30 minutes, so keep an eye on the time (or risk living on the edge). The driveway at the front of the studio? That’s VIP parking reserved for the artists. If you park there, don’t be surprised if we politely ask you to move.

Please park responsibly—we can’t bail you out if you end up with a parking ticket. Thanks for understanding, and happy parking!

Question 6

Can I cancel my appointment?!?

Accepted Answer

Well… yes and no.
Booking fees are non-refundable, I’m afraid. But don’t worry, rescheduling is totally possible if you give me at least 72 hours’ notice. If you don’t, your deposit will be forfeited. You can reschedule once, but after that, the booking fee is gone—sorry, no exceptions!

I get it—life can throw curveballs, and sometimes cancelling is your only option. I’m sympathetic and will do my best to accommodate you, but just remember: I’m self-employed, so if I’m not tattooing, I’m not earning!

Make sure to have a read through my terms and conditions when booking your tattoo, and let’s avoid any awkward chats.

Question 7

Do you tattoo u18s?

In the UK, by law you need to be at least 18 years of age to get a tattoo. If you are under 18 I cannot tattoo you even with parental consent. Do not attempt to use counterfeit ID under any circumstances.

Question 8

What if I need a touch up?

Accepted Answer

If your tattoo needs a bit of TLC let me know and I will be happy to help! Make sure that your tattoo is fully healed (4 weeks ish old)

If it was done by me, just simply submit an enquiry with a good picture of your tattoo and I will get you booked in for a tidy. You will be offered a touch up for free, however you will have to pay if aftercare was not followed as advised (and I can tell!) or if you were made aware that the ink may not hold due to the location of the tattoo.
Any design changes such as darkening or thickening the lines etc is NOT a free touch up, and this is chargeable as another session.

On the other hand, if the tattoo was not done by me, I am still happy to help. Just send me some good pictures of the bits you have that need neatening up! (This will however be charged according to my standard rate.)
It is best to reach out to the artist who did the tattoo for you first though as they may rectify it for you :)

Question 9

Can you tattoo over scars?

It really depends on the type of scarring.
They need to be fully healed (white), and relatively flat (not keloid raised scarring). 
I absolutely love working with clients to make them feel good about their bodies (whether its a complete cover up or more of a disguise) so if you are unsure, please pop in and see me or send me some pictures when booking your tattoo.
If you show up to an appointment with heavy scarring, I cannot guarantee that I can tattoo over the area, so please let me know before the appointment.

Question 10

Do you do cover ups?

Yes! I love the challenge of a cover up.
Covering an old tattoo can be a bit tricky, so we will have to go over your design in detail to see how we can best work with the existing tattoo. 
For large cover ups, you may be asked to attend a consultation with me in the studio (free if course) to go over what sort of design will be required in order to cover the old tattoo.
When booking a cover up tattoo, please provide me with good pictures of the old tattoo so i can assess factors such as: darkness, size, and placement on the body.
