Hand poke tattooing is a machine-free technique where designs are created dot by dot, resulting in a gentle and precise tattooing experience.

Can I bring a +1 to my appointment?

Unfortunately not - my new studio Lucky’s is quite small & we don’t have a waiting area or space for extra people However there is a pub onsite so if someone comes along for the journey they can relax there whilst you get tattooed!

Does Hand Poke tattooing hurt?

It’s often described as less intense than machine tattooing, making it a great option for those who are nervous about pain.

How long does a tattoo take?

The time varies depending on the size and complexity of the design, but smaller tattoos typically take 1-2 hours

Do Hand Poke tattoos last as long as machine tattoos?

Yes! When properly cared for, hand-poke tattoos are just as permanent as machine tattoos

What if I’m nervous about getting a tattoo?

That’s totally normal! I create a calm, welcoming environment, and we’ll move at your pace to ensure you’re comfortable throughout the process.

Can me and a friend come to get tattooed together?

As we’re a small studio it is a little tricky for us to work around multiple people in the space at once - I will try to do joint tattoo appointments on quiet days so you may find my availability for these sessions a bit more limiting. To enquire for a joint appointment please only fill out ONE booking form & enter both peoples info in one

Can I get more than one tattoo in an appointment?

Yes of course, I actually recommend if you’re only wanting some tiny tattoos to get them done at once! Just fill out one form with all of the ideas you have, I’ll get back to you with a price breakdown for each tattoo & a ‘bulk’ price for if you get more than one in the session

Hey I’m Lydia! A Hand Poke tattoo artist working out of my beautiful little Americana themed studio in Leicestershire - Luckys

I love creating a quiet, intentional tattoo session & I work mostly with women to create really lovely delicate tattoos either based on your design idea or chosen from my flash sheets (flash is pre-drawn designs that you choose from)
