📅  What days do you work?

My usual working days are Wednesday to Saturday, from 9am to 5pm. I occasionally work the odd Tuesday, but I never work Sundays - a day of rest and time with my family ❤️

Mondays and Tuesdays are typically my admin days, so that’s when I catch up on messages and enquiries. One of those days is also set aside for working on designs for the week ahead.

🛁 How can I prep for my tattoo?

🧼 It is always advisable to exfoliate the area being tattooed for the 1-2 weeks beforehand a couple of times & please make sure you are moisturising it after exfoliation. Don't wear body lotion the day of your tattoo as this can cause the stencil to rub off quicker. Please also do not use fake tan for a week prior to your appointment.

🍽️The morning of your appointment- make sure you eat a nice big breakfast & have slept well :)

🛌 Finally, make sure to change your bed sheets the day of your new tattoo so that they are fresh when you get in them that night. Bed sheets contain dead skin cells, pet dander, sweat & all kinds of other things that can cause a whole load of problems if they get into your tattoo.

👕 What should I wear to the appointment?

What you wear will depend on the placement of your tattoo, but we generally recommend something comfortable and darker in colour.

Please choose clothing you don’t mind potentially getting a little ink or stencil on - while we always take great care, this can occasionally happen during a session.

Arms (upper arm / forearm / sleeve): 
 - Short sleeve t-shirt
 - Vest top / tank top
 - Button-up shirt that can be unfastened or rolled up

Legs (thigh / calf / full leg):
 - Shorts or loose-fitting trousers that can be rolled up
 - Skirt or dress (if appropriate and comfortable)
 - Joggers with adjustable legs

Chest / sternum:
 - Button-up shirt that opens easily at the front
 - Loose-fitting top that can be adjusted or moved aside
 - Sports bra or bralette (if comfortable)

Back / spine:
 - Loose top that can be worn backwards or removed easily
 - Open-back or strappy top
 - Button-up shirt/hoodie worn in reverse for easy access

Ribs / side body:
 - Loose-fitting top that can be lifted or moved aside
 - Crop top or bralette (if comfortable)
 - Clothing that allows side access without restriction

🎧 What should I bring to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

We want you to feel as comfortable as possible during your appointment, so feel free to bring anything that helps you relax - a blanket, book, kindle, tablet, or something to watch or listen to. There may be quieter moments during your tattoo where we’re focusing, so having something to keep you occupied can really help pass the time.

We also recommend bringing a sugary drink and a snack to keep your energy up. If you’re booked in for a longer session, you’re very welcome to bring lunch - we have a fridge available if you need it.
