can i get a quote so i can save up before booking in?

absolutely! if you just want to chat about ideas or pricing, please let me know on your form. i can advise you on design, sizing, placement and a quote, and reopen your enquiry when you’re ready to get booked in.

quotes are a guide and may vary slightly depending on design, size or current rates.

alternatively if you wanna get booked in straight away, I do take enquiries approx 6-8 months in advance. the only thing you’ll need to pay is a deposit, which is usually (not always) approx 30% of the quoted price. the remaining balance isn’t payable until the day of your appointment :)

do i need to pay a deposit?

yes, once I’ve reviewed your enquiry I’ll send over some appointment offers and a link to pay a deposit online. your appointment date will not be secured until your deposit is paid. if you need to reschedule, deposits can be rolled over once to an alternative date as long as 7 days notice is provided, in all other instances the deposit is non refundable.

is there parking at the studio?

can i bring somebody with me?

please come to your appointment alone. the studio can get quite busy and from experience, the whole process runs a lot smoother if it’s just us!

if you do need to bring someone please let me know and i’ll see what i can do to accommodate.

Question 5

how should i prep before my appointment?

Accepted Answer

exfoliating & moisturising the area in the lead up to your appointment makes your skin much easier to tattoo and allows for better healing. avoid moisturising on the day as it can affect how well your stencil stays on.

please make sure you are well rested and have eaten something substantial, too.

avoid drinking alcohol for 24h before your appt, it can make you bleed more! (and does anyone want to be tattooed whilst hungover?)

what should i bring with me?

comfort is KEY especially for longer sittings.

feel free to bring snacks, lunch and drinks. there’s lots of shops nearby if you fancied popping out and grabbing lunch. we also have a microwave if you need to heat anything up :) sugary stuff like sweets, lucozade etc are always a good idea.

other things you might want to bring include a blanket, small cushion, hot water bottle, headphones, even an ipad if you wanna watch a show! (if you want to watch things/listen to your own music please make sure you do bring headphones)

will you send me the design before the appointment?

in most cases, no - i usually design very close to the day of your appointment.

sometimes i may send over a compositional sketch just to make sure you’re happy with how the design is fitting on your body. this is why it’s super important to send over a placement picture along with your enquiry.

i always allow extra time on the day of your appointment to make minor adjustments to the design.

reference photos and a clear explanation of what you do/don’t like really help me to create the tattoo you’re envisioning. from experience i do work best when given a clear brief but creative freedom to create something in my style that fits and flows with your anatomy.
